The Train Collectors Association Lone Star Division Train Show & Meet will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plano East, 700 Central Parkway East/Plano, TX 75074 (off North Central Freeway/US 75, just south of East Park Blvd). The admission price is $6.00 per adult/$9.00 per family. This event is geared towards model train enthusiasts and families with children looking for a fun days outing. The show will have many operating train layouts to see with a special layout for children to operate. There will be door prizes, contests, learning workshops, model train vendors and a silent auction whose proceeds will benefit the North Texas Chapter of the TCA Lone Star Division.
