We lost a dear friend and long-time TCA member this week, Don Scandrol. Although he wasn't a member of the OGR Forum, he was a member of the TCA since 1965. Don never missed a York meet, and he will be missed by many. He and my Dad were train buddies since the 1960's and had tables together at York for many years. RIP, Don--we miss you.

Prayers to him, his family and friends.
I lost my Dad in January and three good friends in the last three weeks, tough year here. Fathers Day will be strange, first year without him.
Six of my railway/toy train friends have passed on during the last 12 months. They are: Jim Storer,
Jerry Kratochvil, Dwight Long, Stuart Lovell, Eberhard Leuthke, and Jim McClellan. I will miss them all.
Enjoy every day.

Sorry for your loss.

The magic in this hobby is we stay with it, at least us passionate ones, until our last day. In the process we meet some people that are the greatest on this earth. I didn't know this man but I know because he was in this hobby he is one of my brothers.
My thoughts are with his family.
Rest in peace!
I must agree 100% with Luvindemtrains. This hobby creates more then just a layout. It creates one big family. Rest in peace Don, you can now look down upon the biggest layout in the universe.
so sorry for your loss....
