TCA Special Cars

Well I like my rolling stock to have nice crisp paint lines and not be able to see the base color in areas. 

I never pre order items. This was the first in years because it was Heinz. 2014 Heinz car was the last.

I know all the issues with the new items. Bad paint and springs etc loose in the box. Members of the club go crazy .

Just the same as I am with this car. I should of passed because it was not scale car. But it was Heinz.

Glad the other manufacturers don't  seem to use this method because this method stinks. The graphics on the car are fine see through base color is not.

I buy very little new Lionel. If I do no preorders.

They cant even get paint colors  correct. Remember the First Responder Engine. Pink not bright red. 

Ok this is a USA made car I do not see the imperfections that are on the Heinz car. Nice crisp line and the base color in not showing through.

Thom.  Same issue on the camo car...just doesn't stand out like red/white.  I guess my issue with these cars...and its minor...is the small text is blurry vs the crisp print of tampo.  But the tech will improve and this allows us to make small numbers.  1,2, or 100.   Not min order 500+  Have you seen the Made in USA CTT Commemorative Car.

So I think I can now live with this car. I hand painted the areas that were not covered. The car is now acceptable.
