The first TCA Train Meet & Show in Florida this year will be held on Saturday, February 11th at the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center. Pinellas Park is in the Tampa Bay area near Clearwater and St. Petersburg. This will be the 23rd consecutive year the TCA Southern Division has held a winter train meet in the Tampa Bay area, and this will be our 3rd show at the Performing Arts Center. This facility is a relatively new building featuring carpeted floors and plenty of free parking, is handicap accessible and better yet, it is located within blocks of 2 train stores which will both be open on the day of the meet!
Meet Hours: The meet opens to TCA members at 9:00 AM and to the public at 10:00 AM and closes at 3 PM.
Admission: $5.00/person and free admission to a child 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. All children 12 and under will receive a free toy car at the check-in table. Free parking.
Activities: old & new trains for sale and on display, operating train layouts including a LEGO layout, test track, door prize drawings for adults and children throughout the day; train drag races and a Scavenger Hunt for the kids.
Food: A food truck will be on site from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Also there are several nearby restaurants.
