I want to publicly thank everyone from the EDTCA, volunteers, attendants and the TCA membership for another York Meet.

Things have changed since 2019 but I'd still rather go to York than not so I appreciate all the hard work and dedication of the folks that put on the meet.  Already have my badge for the all and am looking forward to it.  I know some folks have griped about the Orange Hall but with the exception of a few vendors  I missed, I had a great time.

Well said Marty.  I had a great time to . I learned a lot.  Maid some new friends from the River City 3 Railers located in Virginia and the Delta Lines group.   I bought a lot of stuff at the Halls and ate a lot of food at Eagles Nest, Round the Clock dinner, Quaker Stake & Lube and Olive Garden.  I finished it off with a day trip to Gettysburg MilitaryPark.  Fantastic traincation. See you in October

Thankyou EDTCA for the great time

For my first ever York experience, I had a blast! Everyone was very helpful with the guest badge sign in, the sellers and members in general were all very friendly, and it was just such a wonderful atmosphere. I knocked out a large majority of my list and another list of items I wasn’t even aware I needed hahaha. I’m currently remodeling my layout so finding several items at one event with zero shipping costs definitely helped out. I went down for Thursday and Friday and should have took advantage of the final day on Saturday too. As others have said, York can be a bit overwhelming at first. Just make sure you do your research on products beforehand, learn the fairgrounds layout, and study Clem’s York Primer.  Once I got my grove after doing two isles, everything started to flow smoothly, including my money!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT MADE ALL OF THIS POSSIBLE!

I’m proud to say I’ll be joining the TCA without any hesitation! Is it October yet?! Hahaha

To the EDTCA folks, a big Thank You for another York meet. Regardless of some negative remarks posted by a few know-it-alls, York still rules. If you don’t like York, do many of us a favor and stay home.
The rest of us really enjoy the friendships and camaderie we have from all the years going there.
I have my calendar marked for October 2021 for the next traincation even though us retirees are always on traincation!
How does that sound Marty E? Lol!

Let me add my thanks to the list (I also thanked EDTCA ppl on site, too).  I was surprised it wasn't bigger than it was, given the weather was okay and covid is less of an issue, but it was still a lot of fun and I still got plumb wore out. My biggest regret was the standard gauge layout wasn't there (I keep this up I might end up with a standard gauge layout, not having built my O one yet.......  I found some great stuff, some of which I actually had my eye for, and it was really enjoyable. Even got to experience a York legendary event, the old guy on the scooter crop dusting......*evil grin*. Funny, the people complaining about York (and I heard some when I was there) are kind of like the people when you see a Broadway show and say you really enjoyed it, and then someone has to say "It isn't the same, you didn't see it with X in it".....the fact is I enjoyed it, which really is all that matters to me.
