Jeeez Allan. Why haven't i read about this in the magazine? It's the perfect subject of an article - "My Memories with Frank".  For us Ogauge Sinatra fans, it would be a real treat.

Well, we're talking about a couple of lifetimes ago, and I can't really say that I remember many specifics of the fairly brief sessions when I saw Sinatra at Jim Sattler's train shop (Honolulu Trains & Hobbies). Jim, by the way, had one of the largest Lionel collections in the entire world, which is how he met and knew Sinatra. Although I was the photo editor of Honolulu's major newspaper at the time (1976-1989), I have no photos of record because I respected Mr. Sinatra's privacy. His frequent visits to the Islands were for his own personal enjoyment and relaxation, and as far as I was concerned back then, he was just another passionate train guy
