Nope, it's not will I out spend my budget, AGAIN. We all usually do.

No, the big question is "Will there be a TRAINPOP sighting?"

For the last 3 shows he has been missing from his corner stool at VINCE's Trains in the Orange hall.

More easily noticeable than the overhead sign, the story telling mascot, ambassador of good will, and Italian Heritage expert has been missed by all.

Will the big guy return?

Let's all hope so!

RD--you definately do have to make the drive at least once.  If nothing else, getting to meet and talk to fellow forumites at the various functions during the week will make the trip worthwhile.  I've even enjoyed talking to folks who frequently have differing opinions than mine as meeting them in person gets to remind us we all enjoy the same hobby and have common ground even if we enjoy the hobby differently.

 

Many of us may be reservered in nature but I've yet to encounter someone who hasn't greeted me with a hearty handshake and welcome when I've introduced myself.
