Salutations!
I'm posting this as a more official announcement of the progress of my train layout project, the Burnesyd Magical Muggle Railway. It's an O Gauge train setup created specifically as a centerpiece / accent for our 2017/2018 Christmas Tree. It is based around the Lionel LionChief Hogwarts Express. It will be a constructed display but be able to be easily put away outside of the yuletide season. For a better idea, I encourage you to visit my project site, http://www.mugglerailways.com. I wanted to invite forum members to visit the site and be able to see my progress, as well as have access to the more technical side of what I am doing and perhaps share suggestions, insight or wisdom. I've been speaking to a fair number of you on a post concerning Hogwarts but wanted to create a post where I can chronicle my progress with everyone more directly.
I encourage everyone to visit the blog and comment or ask questions. i look forward to sharing my progress and my process with you and definitely learning a lot from the board members as I go.
Currently, my content is only the preliminary comments and history to establish the project and explain what I'm doing. I've actually completely the initial track layout planning and will be posting my layout schema and the process to determine that within the next week or so. I have however already created my blueprints and will actually be beginning construction of the display base within the next two weeks as well.
