James: VERY NICE and thanks for sharing! Clockwork also has "essence"!
I got hooked on prewar standard gauge when my dad gave me his #10 set gray passenger set for a bit. Just so cool a toy train made in 1927 still runs and looks almost new. The essence bit me and I’m glad it did. Long may they run!
You will post pictures?
RK - Nice last name BTW. I’m a Kenney too. My dad wanted his set back to set up around his Xmas tree so I set up a loop for him. He’s 91 now and since then not living at our family home now, so I haven’t had the set for a bit. Hoping to see it again some time in the future. (If I can get up the nerve to ask my older sisters about it, maybe TMI, but one of 7 kids and try to steer clear of family politics). It’s in really good shape, and deserves to be treasured. Thanks for asking.
