Sunday Nov 23 at the Jackson Township fire house Pa route 715 Reeders Pa. Sponsered by the Pocono Mts. Chapter NRHS. We are 1 1/2 miles south of exit 299 of I-80. All proceeds go to the restoration and upkeep of the Tobyhanna Railroad station. The ladies of the fire company auxillary will be preparing their usual delicious food. Our christmas layout is up at the station as our other layouts.

I forgot to mention that this is also the exit for the Crossings outlets. You can drop off the lady in your life to start her shopping if she is not fond of train shows.

The old Stroudsburg RR is my favorite active RR, they just had a segment on it on Tricked Out Trains this evening, if you have the time take a ride on one of Americas greatest historical trains.

I think you are confusing Stroudsburg with Strasburg this isa common occurance.We are about 100 miles north west. The railroad running past our station is the Delaware Lackawanna.Steamtown NHS runs excursions to our station occasionally otherwise its all freight.

I know what you mean. I lived in Stroudsburg (well, technically Stroud Township) for about 12 years ('86-'97), and people from outside the area often mixed up the two names and locations.
