Been abstaining from posting for a while now so I’ll bring you up to speed on what I’ve been up to. Most of the images I had posted here have disappeared due to a reorganization of my Photobucket albums.

You can view all the images of the layouts construction here.

This is where I was with the bait shop before Christmas.

After a three month hiatus from layout building (That’s how long it takes to decorate for, celebrate and take down our annual Christmas Extravaganza) I was finally in a position to finish all the track work and electrical wiring.(see photobucket album)

Just recently finished the bait shop scene(I'm sure to add a few little finishing touches here and there but for the most part it's done)

To start with I had to have some way for the peeps to get to Bob's.

Picked up a couple of these tunnel faces on the bay but they're to short for my flatbeds with trailers to get through.

The small hole is for an led to light the image.

I love this foam, it's easy to shape, super light weight and the scraps are great for making the topography a bit more interesting than dead flat plywood

In a day or two I'll post the scene on the other side of the shop.

Papa

Thanks for the kind words Guys.

Here's the scene on the other side of the bait shop.

Had to hack on the lake shore a bit to accommodate the footbridge.

A bit of Spackle to blend everything together.I've been using  DAP Drydex goes on pink turns white when it's dry.

I use 3M Super 77 spray adhesive to affix the foam to the plywood. It's a contact cement so you need to be careful when placing items because once you apply pressure that's where it stays.
