I just picked up this set from Trainworld and it might be one fo the best sets for your money from Lionel. This set features a Legacy Berkshire, vision stock car, hotbox reefer, TOFC, PS-1 Freightsounds boxcar, and vision N6B cabin car all for an MSRP of $2499.99 and on sale for much lesson. I breakdown the price in the video and highlight all the great features this set offers. Enjoy!

Having picked up this set myself, I have to agree 100% on the value. It is a mountain of sound from all directions.
One of my trailers also had that chalky residue on it. I thought it might be a problem because it kinda looks like CA frosting, but turns out it just wiped right off with a little elbow grease.
And congrats on the dissertation defense! PhD = Phinally Done.
Hey Chris, I’m a longtime subscriber to your channel. You do great work. And, congrats, doc!
I ordered the set and love it. You mentioned visiting the 765 museum in Ohio. It’s actually in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. But, NKP #779 is on static display in Lima, Ohio - you could swing by and catch it on the way to Indiana.
Keep up the great work and enjoy your new set!
Nice set indeed. Clyde at Stockyard Express did an MTH premier reefer in Nickel Plate that might go well with this.

ah yes, that was a mis-quote in the video. thank you for pointing that out!
Congrats, Doc! From a long-time subscriber
Very cool review. Thanks!
Lots of interactive stuff in that set! Really like it when Lionel bundles these sets with those special cars. Awesome video, Chris!

Lima and Ft. Wayne are only about 65 miles apart. So, you can see the #765 and #779 on the same trip!
Chris. Check your video. Couplers are uneven.

There's also the #757 at the Mad River & NKP Museum in Bellevue, Ohio.

I saw, it's the electrocouplers hanging lower than the standard ones. They aren't uncoupling on my very out-of-scale grades, so I'm not concerned!
Nice to see that Lionel apparently has finally toned down the overly-bright classification lights on their steam engines.
