I understand this is not entirely correct in eras however the Black Widow is always amazing on the Daylight scheme.

Very accurate model! I'm sure that in 1/1 scale this engine is more than impressive! did you see it in reality? Is there at least one or more kept in good condition?
Here in France, our steam engines were not so colored but they were also very impressive!!!

Yes the 4449 a (GS-4) is still operated in excursion service. You can look here. She is very impressive in person. The photo above is of a GS-2.

Yes, the SP 4449 is very much alive and well. We are quite fortunate to have so many steam locomotives still operational.
