I couldn't get past the John Deer page of the online traditional catalog. So I downloaded the PDF version. I made it through a few more pages. The rendering of each page was so slow, I gave up.

My Laptop is only a few years old. I don't have performance problems with other websites or software. Lionel seriously needs to get some skilled IT people on their team.

If I come across printed copies of the catalogs, I'll take a look. Otherwise, the catalogs will remain a mystery to me.

Well, I have a brand new laptop and it's blurry.  It's not the settings either.

The page view is fine, as soon as I click to zoom on the page it's blurry.

Lionel needs to fire whoever is doing there IT stuff.  On my phone, I couldn't find the link for the new catalog-finally did a site search and it came up.  If I can't find the catalog and know it's there, then new to the hobby folks will never find it...

Plus, the site still blows.  Opinion.

They have a catalog link that brings up old catalogs for sale. The real catalog link is on the home page and you have to click on an arrow on the left side of the page. You know, these new symbols that are not common to us who have been using computers for 40 years are just not helping. But I'm learning.

OK, my I-Pad may be a bit Blurry on the small print, but it's not Blurry on those Beautiful Pictures of those Beautiful VisionLine GG1's, GS4's, And Look at those Really Great Alleghanys!!! All the Beautiful Passenger Cars, Those New Sound Cars, Command Accessories!!! Although I can not Read the Prices, I am so Glad to see all of the Amazing Products Lionel is Bringing to US....Its so nice to be able to get this product introduced before the actual Catalog arrives...Thank You Lionel!!!

Click on the three horizontal lines at the top left. Then scroll down the page and the Catalog link is at the bottom center. There is an alternate way by clicking on the Lionel Logo at the top left and then click on the big arrow in the center left of the montage of catalog cover background.

HMMMM....I'm reading a common theme....And, we know it's there....

Good thing for Lionel Gary posted a direct link

Chuck, understand what you're saying.  I appreciate your directions as I hope many others will find them helpful.  The new site is not user friendly as mentioned in other threads and I don't mean to derail this thread about the resolution.  As a consumer, if I have to hunt for stuff on a site, generally I buy elsewhere..."Ain't nobody got time for that!"

I spent quite a bit of time ensuring my settings were correct to view the catalog without it being blurry...concluded after reading many posts above, it's now on my end.  Sure wish I could see clearly see the details on all those nice products.

Lionel is 0/2 in the last catalog releases going smoothly.  Last time, a new site launched the catalog early, they took it down, but the products were still visible if you did a search on their site.  Launch day many couldn't view the catalog for some time as it didn't work.  Now, we got blurry images.  My goodness.

Not designed for people with little patience and short attention spans.

I worked as a computer performance specialist for quite a few years. When computer software or a website responds slowly, people give up. One can disagree about how slow is slow, but that is human nature.

Usually for me it's the ads that take time to load. Then I give up.  I get impatient on that other train site.

As to the iPhone 6s loading the catalog quickly, I have about 30 Mbps download and it is a bit slow for me, I assumed it might be the number of downloads happening last evening.
