The new Williams Wabash 4-6-2 Pacific with True Blast Plus!

Just got my new pacific and wanted to share some pictures.  It's much better than expected cosmetically and I'm looking forward to running it.  I only wish it was a Santa Fe,  but I  have the paint and decals as soon as I convince myself to do so. It is a beautiful engine in any color,  with tons of details. Too bad the chuffing sound isn't more accurate,  but for the price,  it's fine. Humm, I wonder if an MTH smoke unit would fit ?????. Maybe an HO-SCALE smoke unit? ?

Hi there.  Sorry to bring up an old thread but I just bought one of these (pre-owned) from Trainz.com and am awaiting delivery.  Is there a volume control somewhere on this model to turn the volume down?  The loco looks great and that is why I bought it, but in online videos I've seen, the sound is very loud.  Thanks!

The color is beautiful. Am I correct that this is a brass model?  What year produced please? The early scale brass steamers by Williams were really nice models when introduced in the late 1980's but had Sleuthe smoke units which were poor. Perhaps a modern unit will fit and enhance the performance greatly!
