Was helping a friend and came across this. Set the TIU's up as #1 and #3, the led flashes the correct amount on power up.

On TIU #1 the #1 variable output works fine. Remote screen shows  voltage going up and down and it does on the track.

On TIU #3 the remote screen shows the voltage going up and down on #1 and #2 variable outputs yet there is no voltage at the track on either output.

Didn't have time to check the fuses, is there anything else to check when we remove them and open them up? They are mounted in an awkward location and will remedy that at the same time. The fixed outputs work fine.

Also, with his Z4000's set at max voltage the track reads about 4 volts less on the rails using a voltage meter. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Pretty sure we did feature and then factory reset on the TIU's, will do that again to verify. Will also double check Z4000 output to TIU input voltage. (Tracks worked in conventional without the TIU so that should be ok.) Fuse check next.

Only one MTH dual motor engine on track during tests, Proto1 or Proto3 depending on test.

Thanks.
