First, I wanted to say that I posted this in a forum that most closely related to this topic, but I'm still unsure if I put it in the correct area. My apologies if it's not.
I'm a member of the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) and every year I enjoy the events that the Gardens plan for it's members and the general public. I most enjoy and look forward to the annual Holiday Train Show and I've made in a tradition to go every single year. It's a completely popular event during this time of year and the NYBG makes it a point to ensure that as many people get to see the festivities as possible.
This year the show runs from November 14th to January 19. If anyone on the forum is near NYC this Christmas or lives in the area, I highly recommend going.
Today was 'members only day' so only members got to see the show. I chose to go today because I thought that the crowds would have been less than expected. I was wrong. Hundreds, if not, thousands of members showed up for today's train show and none left disappointed. Adults and children alike really enjoyed the trains, buildings, landscapes, waterfalls and all around fantastic hospitality that the NYBG showed to everyone who showed up.
I took a lot of photos and videos today and I wanted to share them with everyone on the forum. I hope everyone enjoys them. Alot of the photos contain stills of building and landscaping while the video contain more trains. One thing I noticed this year is that there were less trains that previous years, but still enjoyable.
