The O Scale Hauler is coming to the end of the line. If you have been waiting, it's NOT too late...yet. The Locomotive Haulers and Club Sets are now gone so go to the website and order your Car Haulers before they are gone too.

www.oscalehauler.com

It has been a great year and a half with the Haulers, but I'm not going to do another run before the wife and I get out of California. Thanks to all of you they sold even better than I expected, and I really don't want to shut it down. My plan is to try to bring them back in a couple years once we have relocated, but that will just depend on finding LOCAL suppliers for the cardboard and foam. So for now, it's time to pull the pin and tie up one last time.

There are a few dozen of the Freight & Passenger Car Haulers left. You can put locomotives in this box as well, I do it all the time. This box is just as strong and contains the same exact trays inside that the Locomotive Hauler has. YOU just have to be able to carry it when it's full  Can you put a steam engine in there with a bunch of cars, or an ABBA set of diesels with a few passenger cars? YES, of course. Can you put 4 scale sized Big Boys in there? YES you can, but can you carry it around?

Car Hauler

the Foam

All the foam is cut for you and included, so there are various ways to load them, with or without the tray dividers.

Auto racks, 86' hi-cube box cars?? no problem

20160811_16091620160811_174917

Remove the dividers and you can fit 4 cars instead of 3....just use the white foam strips in between each car.

20161024_162437

21" passenger cars will fit with ease.

21 inch GGD El Capitan cars

40 footers, 50 footers, 60 footers....no problem

40 50 & 57 cars

1 Freight & Passenger Car Hauler will hold 20 reefers or box cars of the 40' variation.

40' reefers

Mine are decorated with vinyl decals.

This is what they will look like when they arrive at your door. Depending on what you have ordered, they will be partially assembled and stretch wrapped together.

Great product - Suggest you guys jump on the remaining items before there are gone.

They deliver as Doug shows plus are easily decorated with your favorite lines !

The Blue Ridge Southern is a new local road here in western NC that purchased several lines from NS a couple of years ago.

The Freight & Passenger Car Hauler ships best in multiples of two, with a maximum of four per order due to the size limitations. If you order one, the second one basically fits inside of the first one. The shipping only goes up a little when buying two, dropping the shipping price per box.

For example: (estimated price off the top of my head)

price for shipping on one box to New York = $35

shipping price for 2 boxes to New York = $40

shipping price for 4 boxes to New York = $50 --- $12.50 per box instead of $35 if you only order one

So my point its, get together with a buddy or two and order 4 Car Haulers to cut the shipping/per box down.

Doug, just went to your web sight and ordered 2 engine haulers via paypal. It showed you had 2 left and let me purchase them.  Purchase time was 12:15 am central time. Were they still avilable? It charged my cc card. Realy wanted to get some off these for a while. Wish I had not waited so long. Let me know if my order can be filled. Thanks roger.

Thanks doug,  These haulers are the best. I am going to use these when I move out of my apartment some day. Like I said I just wish I had gotten some sooner. Thanks. The ordering process could not have been more easy. Well done web sight. Good luck with your relocation and please let us know when you start selling these again. I need several more. Thanks again roger.

Loved the club set I got awhile back.  With what good passenger cars (and engines) cost these days I really like having a quality, secure place to store and organize them, not just transport.

Just ordered several more car haulers.  Good luck with the move (hopefully this means lower future shipping costs for me  ), and I may well be ordering even more in the future.

These Haulers have made modular club life so much easier for me.  I do hope anyone still on the fence takes this opportunity and gets while the getting is good.  Including myself, there are now 3 of us Pittsburgh Independent Hi-Railers using them (just ordered a big bundle a month or so back).

One of the greatest benefits to me is the ablility to take lots of Atlas cars with all their fragile little detail parts to shows without breaking those fragile detail parts or having to carry them individually in their original boxes and then un-pack and re-pack them.

All told, I give this product   (I'd give a higher rating, but I only have two thumbs... where's Baby Groot when you need him?  ).

Andy

John, were going to Albuquerque, New Mexico. I plan to finish my career (15 more years) working in the Abq yard. My 20 years of seniority with the "big orange" just doesn't mean anything in Southern California any more, and no light at the end of the tunnel. So why wait til retirement we said....lets go now. Or soon as we can anyway. Hopefully by the end of this year, next Spring at the latest.

So being 750 miles closer to the east coast will hopefully lower the shipping costs a bit... if and when I am able to bring them back to the market from New Mexico.

You planning on moving back afterwords?

Hey Doug, congratulations on the Hauler project and your upcoming move.  Quick questions (allow me to be nosey, please) Is your current layout at your parents house gonna be finalized, and if so are you starting another at the new location?  While in the decorating state of my layout, I knew a challenge was ahead and it has been a rewarding one but are you planning on starting another one when your current one is so nice?  These layout projects are quite overwhelming yet rewarding.

Yes Tommy I still have Car haulers. I got your order this morning and the other one this afternoon. I will combine the two orders and credit the shipping. I wasn't sure those orders were from you as the name said Carroll Thompson, and your profile doesn't show an address here. I'll take care of it... thank you

Yes the layout is at my parents house and they nor the layout are going anywhere.  My dad has been working on the end with the ice deck and brewery by himself. I have so much on my plate I just don't have time. I do need to get over there and finish a few things that are incomplete now.

We are going to rent for a little bit once we move, just in case.... better safe than sorry.  So obviously no layout in the rental and I don't think there are any O scale clubs in Albuquerque. Once we sell the house in CA (going to rent it out for awhile) and start looking for a house to buy.... layout space will definitely be a consideration. Houses in ABQ are quite different than Southern CA as the rooms are very large and open, as well as having large basements. So yes, a new layout possibly in the future....distant future.

EXACT SHIPPING QUOTE to Phoenix, AZ

1 Car Hauler Shipping = $16

2 Car Haulers Shipping = $22

4 Car Haulers Shipping = $40

Obviously going to the east coast is more than that, but several people have asked about shipping to states a bit closer to California. If you want an exact shipping price before ordering, just email me direct. oscalehauler@Verizon.net

I always refund the difference if the shopping cart over estimates the shipping price. Sometimes it's right on, and sometimes it's way off. Shipping price varies drastically to different zip codes as these are calculated by dimensions.. NOT weight.

Even though this package (pictured below) only weighs 28 pounds, it is calculated as a 75 pound package due to the size. That's just how shippers do it these days. Trust me, I don't charge any more than the actual shipping price and my discount is substantially lower than retail rates.

Okay this one got to me. Just ordered 4 haulers.

I have a 4 or 5 of the O SCale Hauler storage solutions and these are absolutely fantastic for transport. I use them to take my trains back and forth to the NJ HiRailers and Bergen County Model RR Club. You won't be disappointed with this product.

Doug has done a great job on these.

Best on your move.

Kevin
