My 6th grandson had his turn to get a trainset this Christmas  Since his name is Rocco I decided to create a "The Rock" Train.  Wanted a Lionchief Bluetooth engine but The Rock isnt one of them.    I found an MPC era GP7 shell from Henry of Island Trains and wanted to swap out the new Lionchief GP7 shell with it.  Unfortunately the mounting is completely different  The MPC had the little screws on the ends of the shell and the new one has the mounting screws underneath  I asked my good friend Vinny the Chef to do his magic on it and he didnt disappoint me.  I now have a Lionchief GP7 in the Rock along with a number of carsIMG_0713IMG_0714IMG_0715

Hey Ben:

That's a striking set and will only increase in fun value as Rocco gets older.  Even though I live nowhere near the prototype road, I've always been partial to The Rock logo and livery.

If you haven't done it already, I (and perhaps others) would love to see more photos of your overhead loop.  The way you've built it right into the woodwork and made it look like traditional molding near the ceiling is quite attractive.

Nice work all the way around.
