If you're still hungry, it's probably not too late!
This year, however, I will be wearing a Philadelphia Eagles hat. The first professional football game I ever attended was the 1960 NFL Championship. The Eagles beat the Packers. Its been a long time.
Gerry,
I have a picture on my smart phone that is priceless and can be used to blackmail someone. You are in for a good laugh as this person was wearing an Eagles jersey!

If it's Marty, I will pay any price to get a copy.
Gerry
I’ll be there!

The forum seems really quiet overall so far about York. Maybe it's just too early?
Yeah, everyone is trying to find the engines and rolling stock that delights them. Hey, don't forget to keep a good eye out for those great deals. Someone picked up something for free in October's Meet last year because of a sign that said something like, "if you stop and read this, it's free". I believe that was in one the Member's Hall, which when I went through was crowded.
Make sure you show us your deals or good buys.
Great to meet so many new friends this morning. Thanks.

5 yrs ago the forum would have been plastered with photos and remarks about the breakfast and also early reports about the 1st day of shopping.
There's fewer photos now than before they were allowed.
You guys crack me up! Just got in from QS&L....will post soon......
Peter
I think with the passing of some older train folks and others not able to attend this time or unable to attend them at all. also the postwar era on the down low this is the modern day york where the enthusiasm is more on chatting with friends as a social event.
I noticed this change 3 years ago as yes the bandit meets were raved about and post after post of the rare finds that were found on the first day of them as well as the first day of the tca eastern division extravaganza.
nary a mention yesterday of the new items shown and or talked about at the museum of where I haven't a clue as to its location in regards to york area.

Thanks Peter, that's more like it. Looks like a pretty good crowd with lots of happy faces. Brian your lookin' good sporting one of Dotty's custom made shirts. I need to get one made. BTW was there any scrapple on the menu?
Thanks Nick! Dotty’s shirts are very comfortable and railroad stylish.
Scrapple was on the menu and enjoyed by a few but I opted for the French toast.
Man, I could have really gone for breakfast yesterday, would have been great. Almost can smell the coffee.

Mark, it was a pleasure meeting you. If you attend in October we'll have to chat longer!

That would be great, Brian!
My first time at the breakfast - thanks Peter for setting up - met a bunch of great folks. Nice leisurely meal (since I don't have to run back to set up!)
