I plan to leave Central VA/Midlothian/Richmond around 4-4:30AM. Time to York will be about 4-5 hrs, depending on the DC/Balto traffic. I have 2 newbies with me and will check them in.

Then, I plan to go to the Orange Hall, and hang out on the north side of the concession stand. Any Forum member who wants to meet and chat is certainly welcome. I figure to start congregating in that area by 10:30-11AM.

I have not decided if I'll be wearing my bow-tie............but I will have my River City 3 Railers cap.

Peter,

I'm not sure what time I'll get there. I live about 2 hours north, and it doesn't take me long to set up my stuff. I'm in the Orange Hall, so I would just have to finish up and head outside. I usually try to time my trip to arrive in enough time to set up, but having the chance to meet some of the members would make it worth while to leave a bit earlier.

I plan to go to the get together at Ruby Tuesdays for the first time, but can't stay too long, as I'm staying at my sister's, just across the border in MD. I don't get to see her very often. It's about a twenty minute ride, and I like to get there by nine, as she has work in the morning. I just stand around and hold down a 10 X 10 slab of concrete for 10 hours on Friday!

Peter, I live in Fairfax County, a few miles west of the AutoTrain station.  I-95 to Baltimore and the Baltimore Beltway is always a hastle.  In April, I took the Dulles Greenway to Leesburg, US15 north to US 30, and then east to York.  Traffic was not an issue.  Another alternate is to take I-495 north, I-270 to Frederick, then 15 & 30.  Something to consider.
