She's been test fired, wonder if they are going to wait til 6/11 to send her home...

Trains Magazine already has the news on the 611 excursions in June and July. They are all in Virginia on NS. 765's schedule should be coming soon, and 4501. It's a shame that the 614 is sitting cold in Virginia and a certain 3 letter railroad has zero interest in steam excursions. 611 can't cross the Potomac River for obvious reasons. There is no NS owned trackage in DC or MD heading toward Baltimore and Philly except the Port Road north of Perryville and the NS lines south of Wilmington, DE. Apparently NS freights have trackage rights on the NEC to go between DC and Perryville or Wilmington.
I personally would love to see the 614 back out, but until a major change at CSX occurs I wouldn't hold my breath.
