I picked these up at LHS the other day, no markings but are in great shape...Below are the pics of the buildings, one is a log cabin with litho on the inside as well, I think it is missing the chimney.  Other building is a barn, no interior litho.

Thanks,  Marty

Marx made at least two sizes of cabins for their several playsets.  I couldn't get your

photos to enlarge for detail , but that looks to be the smaller one.  The larger with a

porch was found in several different ranch sets, in different trims, including the Roy

Rogers ranch set.  The smaller one may have been included in some of their fort sets, but I am not sure about that. Marx also made several different farm sets, with different barns, as did Ohio Art, and I can't tell from the photo.....but usually, the litho, if Marx, has their logo on it somewhere.

Speaking of tin litho, back in the early 1950's, one of my buddies that lived across the street had a couple of cheap tin litho cars that were made in Japan.

One day he decided to take one apart. The bottom was a flat plate that had slots in it. It was held on the the car by bent tabs. When we took the bottom off, the inside had Japanese writing with a picture of an orange. These cars were made from old orange juice cans.
