I have the DCS Companion book. I need to make one of my TIU's #2.

Do I have to disconnect this unit from the track to edit the number?

Do I have to re-enter the 4 engines attached to this unit as they used to be TIU #2?

As the last step I believe I have to edit both TIU's to Super TIU's.

At what point do I have to re-enter the engines? after making both TIU's Super TIU's?

No however, you must turn off power to the TIU that is to remain #1. Then:

  • Edit the remaining TIU's address to #2.
  • Add TIU #2 to the remote.

Do not reset either TIU.

No.

Yes, that would be best.

You don't have to re-enter any engines.
