I read something on the OGR tread concerning the DCS signal at the outpout of the TIU. I like to install and oscilloscope on the fixed1 outlet of the tiu and mesure the signal. Can somebody remaind me the url or give me those infomations
Type of signal ex: peak to peak, ac or dc offset ? Does the watch dog signal is different and if i will have a chance to see it on the scope.

Just hook up the scope and adjust the amplitude and time base until you see something that looks like a square wave digital signal.
Then you'll and see what you've got.
It would seem it would be easier to see the signal if you fed the channel with DC. Does the DCS signal present itself on a channel with no power? That would even be easier. 
You can certainly see the WD if you have a storage scope, just trigger when you first see something.
gunnerjohn: yes, the TIU can generate a DCS signal without track power going thru the TIU. Merely use the AUX power option.
Some call this setup "Passive Mode".

I didn't know if with no power other than aux power it would actually be putting out the signal on the outputs. Obviously, this is the easiest way to look at the DCS signal if you're trying to, no extra stuff to contend with.
Don't even need to power it thru the AUX port as it'll pull power from the outputs in passive mode...well when using DC power as never tried that with AC,
