Over time say eight years or so does the TIU start to diminish in its ability to do its job. You know electrically start to lose efficiency ? Im thinking about a REV L as my TIU is getting older. thanks conrail john

I would not be worried about your tiu unless your having signal issues or channels not working right or failing. The big difference with the new tiu rev l it has better signal strength then some of the older versions especially if yours is the 13a I believe it.some of the older ones don't,t have fuses inside like the rev l has. Even if you decide to get another one newer rev l I would keep your older one for a spare,if not usually you can sell the older one for around $75.00
