I have a TIU I found under my workbench. It does give power to the channels however I can't do anything with it. I opened it up and saw that the pins on the receiving end of the radio board are broken. Is this fixable and where do I get the copper tabs (or whatever is needed) to fix it? Sorry for the burly pictures.

One of qualified MTH-repair techs will surely respond, but it seems to me you need to replace the entire 10-pin socket (and possibly the 4-pin socket) shown circled in red albeit a different revision of the TIU.  It appears you have remnants of the 10-pin socket in your photo.  Wait for one of the gurus to respond but I'd be suspect of the radio board too given the condition...as if someone tried to repair this and gave up!  The sockets themselves which will include the "copper contacts" are readily available -  you'll pay more for shipping...

Well, at least the backside of the board appears to be in good condition. I was worried that some of these pins might be bent, not a good thing! I'm with GRJ and Stan on this one: Get a replacement socket. I think Digi-Key is a good place to go looking. Do be aware that shipping will likely cost more than the actual socket.

I've got an order ready to be placed with digikey. I'll add the Socket to the order. I just need a link.

@Trainlover9943 (Matt) - I'll stick my nose into this as well.  Did you measure the pitch on the pins? I fairly certain they're standard 0.1in spacing.  Also, was the former socket SMD or through hole?  My guess is through hole but I'd have to see the underside of the damaged board.  Do you have a rework station or know someone with a rework station?  The damaged area will have to be cleaned up (carefully) first before attempting to replace the sockets.

@gunrunnerjohn @stan2004 you guys ever find a part number for the socket? I'm not sure what to order and don't want to order the wrong thing.

I never looked.  This might be the only instance ever on OGR where this connector needed replacing(?).  I'd be surprised if MTH gives out this part number to their authorized service centers or whatever they're called!

looks thru hole to me

From your earlier photo, it appears to be a thru-hole style (vs. SMT).  I didn't measure the pitch but might even be 2.0mm instead of 2.54mm (0.1").  The mold height would be another thing to confirm though I suppose if you change BOTH the 10-pin and 4-pin sockets you could keep things on the level so to speak if you can't find an exact height match.  In that regard, I suppose one thing to look for is a socket "family" that has both a 4-pin and 10-pin version.  I show the following photo purposely hiding any part numbers (I don't want to provide a wrong number).  The idea being it will take some homework to track down a replacement.  This simply shows an example of a thru-hole, dual-row socket family that comes in 4 and 10 pin versions.  I'm confident Digi-Key has something that would work even if it isn't the exact brand that MTH uses...I think it's fair to assume MTH did not buy their TIU production parts from Digi-Key but rather sourced them from Asia.

I didn't measure the pins and I don't have a rework station. However, I have a local tech who could fix the tiu for me.
