Anybody devised a method of making the connection physically stronger?

The cable I have (connecting my TMCC Command Base to the TIU) just hangs there, the 2 screws that are suppose to be for fastening it to the TIU barely touch the TIU connector, making it highly susceptible to breakage/failure if touched.

It came with 2 additional posts, but they're no help (same length as what's already on the TIU).  Adding the posts to the existing posts only makes the plug that much farther away from the TIU end.

Even if the screws were longer, it's still susceptible to damage (broken trace/connection inside the TIU) if bumped into.

FIXED!!!

I found some posts, but most were just like what was on there.  I found 2 that were longer but the thread size was bigger.

I ended up taking the 2 that were on there off, putting a nut on them, then screwed them back in the TIU.  The nut brings the post out the thickness of the nut, making it possible to secure the plug.  Just backing the post out wasn't the answer as it was too loose to stay put.
