Has anyone seen the specs for the wireless TIU and will it support being connected to a wireless network? I am using a netgear router to extend the range of my LCS wifi and am wondering if I'll be able to do similar with the MTH product. Also it will avoid having to change the settings on the iPad to swap between the two wifi adapters

Chris,

Ther is no "wireless TIU".
However, there is a WiFi modukle for the existing TIU in the latest MTH catalog. The WiFi module will support either being a stand-alone access point for those who do not have a wireless network, or will alternately be able to join a wireless network.

If your Netgear router is a WiFi router, you will be able to connect the MTH WiFi module to it as a wireless client, just as the LCS can connect to your Netgear router as a wireless client.
Also it will avoid having to change the settings on the iPad to swap between the two wifi adapters
If both the LCS and MTH's WiFi module are both connected to the Netgear router as wireless clients, all mobile devices connecting to the router will have access to both WiFi clients without switching networks.
Thanks, then that will make running the apps together much easier

If I have two TIU's do I need a wifi adapter for each. Would it be better to just buy more remotes?
Vic,

Yes, one per TIU.
Would it be better to just buy more remotes?
That's a personal choice. The initial, free app will only do some DCS, not all.
