TMCC Problems.

Connect the base output to the SC-2 com and run a ground wire (pin #5 of the DB9 on the base) over the SC-2s.

I'll try it as soon as possible and let you know what happens....

You can also just tap off an outlet ground pin and run the wire from there.  You just need an earth ground next to the SC2 to give it more signal strength.

Check the batteries in the Cab-1. I know it's time to change my batteries when my remotes started only working sometimes.

Finally I had a chance to check out my SC-2 system. Found that reprogramming the SC2s solved most of my problems. I had already run the ground wire and connected the base output to the SC2 commons. After reprogramming them all but the first in line worked fine. Number one is still not working properly. When I push #s 1-3 on the controller, everything is fine. Pushing 4,5, 6 nothing happens. The red indicator light on the base blinks but nothing from the SC2. I changed the SC2 to one I had extra and have the same problem. I am going to try to post a picture of my control area so you get the idea of what I have where. The problem SC2 is on the left.

Swap a working SC2 into that position and see if the issue follows the position or the SC2.

He did try another SC-2, but swapping one that’s working just now is a good idea. I find that any unknown causes me to stall in problem solving.

The one I put in was working fine. The problem seems to be something outside the SC2, but what??

See if you have a good common lead running to the SC-2.

Try holding your hand over it and see if that changes it's operation.
