I have two ZW-Ls and a #990 Cab forward. I also have two Powerhouses with the Powermasters, TMCC Cab Controller and Command Base. Do I need my Powermasters, Powerhosues, cab controller, and base?

IMO, no you don't need them. The ZW-L does what the Powermasters do. It comes with its own Powerhouses. The CAB-2 controller and 990 Legacy base are a huge upgrade over the original TMCC CAB-1 and Command Base. The only component I would think about keeping is the CAB-1. If your CAB-2 ever fails, you could use it as an emergency backup. However... personally in that situation, I would use the ZW-L handles, or buy a CAB-1L. My $.02.

Uhh... the CAB1 doesn't talk to the Legacy command system, so he'd better keep both the CAB1 and the BASE1 if it's his backup.
Thanks for correcting my misinformation John. I edited my post so as not to mislead anyone.
Does a Cab 2 talk with TMCC engines?
Yes - you can operate a TMCC engine with a Cab 2 remote and base.
When adding the engine, remember to program it in as a TMCC engine.
