So I purchased a FOSCAM F18910W Pan/Tilt wireless IP camera with audio, IR equipped that I attached to a ceiling beam in the TRAINROOM. Hooked the camera into my home wireless system with no issues into a Linksys Router. Then with the program supplied on a Disc from FOSCAM I could control the camera from my PC. Not good enough, so I added an OWLR Foscam app to my phone to control the camera, then hooked in my IPAD to the camera's IP address with another App.
I have a FrontPoint security system that controls the house lights that includes a dimmer in the TRAINROOM. So from my phone I can control the pan/tilt of the camera while lowering the lights through the phone's FrontPoint App all while viewing it on my Ipad.
When the lights shut down the IR activates so even in the darkened room I can title and pan around the TrainRoom.
I think I need another camera to view other parts of the layout. Way too much TECH!
