touching up the paint Menards Lifesaver?

Go to hardware store and buy the spray can 'chrome" paint. Test it on a plastic jug first. You won't be able to brush this. Tape it all off and spray.

Molotow Liquid Chrome paint is what you are looking for! Forget that hardware junk!

Big Jim, where would one find the Molotow LC paint?

Lionel had done this cars a long time ago. 

2002 was a long time ago.  MPC was a long time ago.

Before you use buy Molotow, check youtube for videos on using Molotow.  It's an excellent product but requires care in application and finishing.  Also, there are threads regarding its use on the forum.

Before even attempting to fix these defective cars, I would contact Menards customer service.  There is no reason you should have to spend time & money to repair these defects.  Cars like these should have never left the factory!  Even though these are "sold out," they may have a fix for you.   I have had good luck with them correcting problems.   I dealt with Ray at:   customerservice@menardsoc.com

Your local hobby shop or online. Something small like this you could touch up with one of the pens.

TTOS Southwestern Division also did the car as one of the  Cal-Stewart series.  Check e-bay for one.

Hey all!  Maybe Micheals or a craft store has a silver or chrome colour felt tip that could be your fix...BTW...those Cal Stewart cars can be pretty expensive....I'd go with the Big Jims'  suggestion or a marker...
