I have 4-4-2 locomotive that needs a replacement traction tire, the original split and has "disappeared". It is from a 1987 Mopar Express set and I can't find a part number for the engine or any information on the engine. The set number is 6-12755. Any tips on how to get the right tire?

Go to www.traindoctor.com/doctor/tractiontires07.jpg for a listing of traction tire part numbers for lionel engines. Look at 5th column listing where there are two listings for the 4-4-2 Atlantic steam engine.

Part number for traction tire for your mopar express 4-4-2 engine is 600-0242-206 i have a mopar express set myself that is the tire i used just about all the tractions tires on the 4-4-2 are the same
