Traction Tires for RK Cab Forward - 30-1144-1

Does anyone have experience with this locomotive using #27 traction tires?  Or what size do you use?

the # 27 tire is for the SCALE version of the cab forward. The one for the RAILKING version of the cab forward is # 23 tire.
