Scott posted that 1/2 went out yesterday and the rest will be sent today.

I went back and looked at my tracking number and it is on the way. Just a reminder of what you have to look forward to that is beyond something special.

Mine is still showing the label was prepared about ten days ago but nothing has happened since.  

Can anyone tell me the length of the E unit and, separately, the passenger cars?  I don't see any dimensions on the 3rd Rail site.  Thanks

The passenger cars are 21", Chris. Don't know the exact dimensions of the E unit.

EMD E7 units are 71 to 72 feet long.

I'm sure you've had it happen that sometimes the UPS tracking does not get updated until after the shipment has been picked up and indeed is well on it's way; happened to me yesterday with another parcel and I put it down to this being the height of the shipping season. Also, another Bay Area supplier (Western Depot) always warns that shipping UPS information is usually not available until very late in the day once collection takes place.

In any event Scott Mann updated another ToT thread by saying 1/2 of the domestic orders went out yesterday and the other 1/2 were going today. 

(As you can tell, I am trying to contain my impatience.)

P.S. I make 3rd Rail E units 17.5" long not counting the coupler(s).

Anybody get theirs yet?  I did manage to get the UPS listing on their website sorted out.  Mine was not picked up/sent/whatever until the 30th, so the website relaly was telling me the truth all along.  It is now scheduled to arrive next Thursday.  

My tracking labeled was updated and it's due to be here on the 7th, very exciting.  Sort of a New Years present ��

Ours will be here on Monday.

Got busy with a client project today and late in the afternoon I heard the UPS truck coming down the driveway. I got so engrossed with the project that I had forgot about the delivery today. Well there are now two new boxes from GGD to be opened and taken out to the layout.

A UPS e-mail says it has been delivered, now to go and pick it up at the UPS store.

I wasn't supposed to get mine until Thursday, but an hour ago it made it to Baltimore (I am in Northern Virginia).  So I think I will be getting mine on Wednesday.  Really looking forward to it.  Share pictures everyone as you get yours.

I wish that I could agree with you, but mine sat in a container in MA for five days when it could have been delivered the next day. UPS also decided to extend the delivery date. Water over the dam, at last it is here now.

It would be nice however if you got it a day early.

I'm still on for 1/8/15 in Western, PA, wouldn't be surprised if it's a day late because of the weather.

Same deal here!  Western PA, the eighth.  We should be ok!

My City Of Seattle arrived in Lenexa KS this morning at 5.48 should make it here tomorrow cant wait!!!!

Was expecting my ToT to be delivered here to my home in central Maryland tomorrow, the 7th.

But, despite having three inches of snow on the ground, it arrived today, a day early!

Hope I get a chance to unpack it later today.
