Does any one know of any train stores in the Sarasota florida area?

Hi
Near Tampa:
H&R Trains
6901 US Highway 19 North
Pinellas Park, Florida 33781
Or if you are anytime near Miami then there is Ready to Roll 831 NW 143 st, FL 33168
There may be a hobby shop in nearby Ft. Meyers byt I don't think that Sarasota has a hobby shop anymore.

Eric, I may be near there next month. Is that a large shop with a large variety of stock?
I was in Ft Myers in 09/10 and found this LHS: Don't know if they are still in business, it was a good shop with a lot of "TRAINS" and the folks knew stuff.
AWSOME GIFTS FOR ALL
4135 Dr Martin Luther King
FT Myers 33916-488

I'l let others weigh-in with specifics, but I believe Ready to Roll is a large dealer with a good variety of both Lionel and MTH. I've never set foot in the place but they are one of my regular go-to dealers for on-line ordering. Great prices and service.

Gulf Coast Model Railroad Company
at the intersection of Clark Road and Lockwood Ridge
Exclusively trains - N, HO, O
Do you live there or are you visiting?
And if you’re driving to Sarasota southbound on I-75 you will pass very close to Bill & Jean Hollash’s train shop in Riverview: http://www.hollashtrains.com/
Very good people with fair prices and a wide selection of parts.
And if you’re in the area on January 26th, there is a TCA Meet in Largo on that day which is also open to the public.

If you are near Ready to Roll in Miami they are certainly worth a visit
Large dealer, nice people with good service and stock, nice layout for you to try before you buy, I must say however that they major on MTH although they do sell Lionel and other stuff too
Certainly worth a visit, I have bought a lot there, its a must for me when I am in the area, also good prices and efficient mail order

I haven't been to that show in years, but I sure the same guy with the same over priced Postwar Timken Roller Bearings 6464 Boxcar will be there with the car. Right next to the guy who keeps dragging the same post War B&M A-B set he's been trying to sell for years.
Thanks guys for the info!

Thanks. I've got it set in my GPS and I'm going to try to stop in if I can. I'll be stopping at Legacy Station outside of Atlanta too. And MTH is fine, that's what I'm using.
