I will be visiting relations in Myrtle Beach SC and will probably fly in to Charlotte and have a day to get to Myrtle Beach. Are there any decent 0 gauge stores between Charlotte, Greensboro, Rayleigh and Myrtle Beach worth a visit ?

I have a list of Lionel and MTH dealers in the area but which stores are worth a visit ?

Thanks

Andrew

If you're taking the Northern route stop by Todd's Train Depot in Wendell, NC and Tom's Trains in Raleigh/Cary, NC.  If by chance you are going to be in the area next weekend the Neuse River Valley group is holding a multi-scale show at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh Sat - Sunday Nov. 3&4.  I'll be at the East Carolina Railroaders layout off and on all weekend stop by and say Hi.

Tom's Train Station in Cary NC is just off US 40 on the west side of Raleigh and has a lot of O gauge.  My local LHS.  Open 10 to 5 daily I think.

Todd's in Weddell is about two miles off US64 east of Raleigh - open from 1 to 8 I think. They have an amazing amount of O gauge stuff.  Charles Kuralt would have loved this store, by the way.

I've been to that store before, it's a nice store but the prices are to high, from the times I've went.
