I have a Trainsounds tender that the sounds have gone haywire, randomly blowing the horn and ringing the bell.
I did run it for a while behind my Marx #333, without a lighted caboose (I know that was wrong).
How do I get it to stop going crazy?

Hi, mine did a similar thing. When I turn on track power, it blows the whistle non-stop.

Mine does that when the track and or pickups get dirty. I notice it on the
switches first....
I agree stoshu. Also some early conv RS had battery connector for adding battery which helps. G
How's "our" project coming along?

I've seen 3 different ones come in for repair - seems these boards don't like full wave transformers. On a Z-4000 I couldn't get it to activate, but a Z-1000 or CW-80 it worked perfectly.
Which transformer are you using?
