We all know that model railroading is the greatest hobby in the world. And that’s because we have some of the greatest people in it. SO WE WANT TO CELEBRATE YOU! In the spirit of spreading the happiness that model trains inspire, TrainWorld wants to help share the joy.

Do you have some good news to share? Is there a model railroader doing us all proud serving on the front lines of this pandemic? Have you or a model train enthusiast in your life done something good for his or her community or the hobby? Have model trains brought a new sense of comfort to you or someone you know during this time? Well, we want to hear about it!!!

TrainWorld will be honoring all these wonderful people in our hobby with an exciting upcoming Facebook Live Event called “Hobby Heroes with TrainWorld.” If you would like to share with us some inspiring stories about the people in our hobby, send us an email with the subject heading “HOBBY HEROES” to marketing@trainworld.com by 11:59pm EST by Monday, May 18th, 2020. Tell us your Hobby Hero’s story and feel free to include a related image or brief video with it. Also be sure to tell us a little bit about their involvement with the hobby, including how long they’ve been in the hobby, their favorite scale, favorite railroad, their train club, etc. Just make sure you have obtained all necessary permissions before you submit your story. Please note that any details, images or videos you submit in your email may be used in the “Hobby Heroes with TrainWorld” Facebook Live broadcast and are intended only for use in the public viewing domain. We are super excited to hear from you and look forward to sharing your good news with the hobby community!!!

As always, TrainWorld wishes all of you the best of health and safety during these challenging times. We will get through this together. SO LET’S GET THAT GOOD NEWS FLOWING!

There's so many that it almost seems wrong to pick one?

Matt and the Angels Gate HR crew, Ben and all at the NJHRs, Chris and all at the ….. errr…. all the clubs! They really forward the hobby to the kids and new people.

Rich M., Mario, Phil, Ed Rappe, Macolm, Roo, Christopher N&W, Eric L., John S., …...all the Real Railroaders that lend info and expertise here,…. I can't name them all!!! It's always the ones I don't name or leave out.

ALL THE TECHS!!! See I almost forgot them.

There are so many that influence me everyday here. I hope you understand. I want to thank them all!

and then there's the store owners and workers who go above and beyond like uh emmm, you and your crew, and all the other stores that participate in forwarding this hobby.

The effort spent at all the shows!

Toss a dart (blindfolded) at a board with all the names is all I could say here..... I've been inspired by many hero's here past and present. Every deal I've gotten on a train item, or help fixing one, or even a post lifting up my spirit when things went south and I almost quit....

How about all the people who invested in this hobby trying to help move it forward with great products?

All the great RR's posted and shared every week?

Stories? I got a million if you had the time. Whoever you pick, I'll stand behind you! …. GOOD LUCK!

I appreciate all your efforts.

& ….the late Ed Reutling, Ray Shoop ("the other Ray"), Barry B, Marty F., etc., etc..
