We are looking for an individual who would like a fun and interesting positon working with Trainz.com to help us find and purchase or consign to auction train and toy collections. This person will talk with collection sellers both over the phone and in-person, inspect and inventory collections, negotiate pricing and terms and will coordinate the pickup and delivery of the collections to the Trainz facility in Georgia.
Our ideal candidate will at a minimum possess the following qualities:
- Be immersed in the train market and have a good working knowledge of current market values in addition to using Trainz's systems
- Be able to travel by both car and air.
- Be willing to work generally part-time with flexible hours
- Have outstanding interpersonal and phone skills.
- Have previous sales experience
- Possess good desktop computer skills – email, Google, Excel, and Word.
- Be a good team player
- Work from home and live in the Northeast
We are looking for an independent contractor relationship with both an hourly pay rate and a bonus based on your success.
