Tru-blast potentiometers

I suspect it can, but you'd have to measure the resistance of the TB pot to be sure it's compatible.  The MTH and Lionel volume pots are all 10K linear taper pots.

I should clarify that we have used this part on many True Blast IIs...have not run into a bad True Blast Plus yet but I assume the same part will work.

Note that Mike's Amazon recommended part is so-called horizontal mount where you adjust the trimmer from the "top."  The trimmer in your picture is so-called vertical mount where you adjust the trimmer from the "side."  Check dimensions to confirm you have clearance if mounting right on the board itself.  Most trimmers come in your choice of orientation.  OTOH, since you're talking about MTH-style volume adjustment, their trimmers generally reside on a tiny board of their own on a harness to the electronics.

I don't think Amazon offered the vertical but the Horizontal could be made to fit and worked so continued to use them.
