2014 Fall Hobby Show – September 13, 2014
The Museum hosts a semi-annual Model Railroad Show and Hobby Sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds - Education Building in Saint Paul. Attractions: Choo-Choo Bob Play Area and operating train layouts in several scales! Over 200 tables of new and used scale models; Toy Trains, Antiques, Collectibles, Toys, Buildings, Magazines, Prints, Posters, Photos and more!
Admission is $6.00 for ages 8 and up! Ages 7 and under are FREE!
The show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Circus Moves by Rails – Coming in October!
The Circus Moves by Rails show is coming to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum October 11th and 12th, 2014. Come see hundreds of elephant, horses, lions, tigers and bears all in miniature. See many of the famous circus acts from the past all in different scales.
See a colorful cavalcade of clowns cavorting, performers decked out in costumes and of course the colossal parade wagons rolling down the streets of Small Town USA! All this and more in miniature!!!!! This event promises to be a kaleidoscope of color and wonder for ages from 1 to 101!
Admission to this exhibit is included in the Museum’s admission price: $8 per person. Children 4 and under are free. Exhibit hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, Noon to 5:00 pm.
