Two New Railroad Publications from Daily Item in Sunbury, PA

That's great! A newspaper getting into the historic publishing business. They say that the newspaper is the first draft of history, and this is one way to use that draft for real history. Thank for the info, Andrew.

Having driven up the Susquehanna north of Harrisburg, that sounds interesting.  Wonder if it covers the RR that ran along the bottom of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, and the logging roads represented by that logging museum  in that area.   Sunbury is about halfway between Harrysburg and Williamsport and Bowser at Montoursville.

The railroad that ran along the bottom of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania was the Jersey Shore & Pine Creek, a branch of the mighty New York Central. It interchanged with the Reading at Newberry Junction west of Williamsport.
