Has anyone done this? I was reading through the manual and they had an example of being able to do that. With one you could power 8 blocks. My layout plan has 3 main loops, each with a couple spurs, and I was going to power those spurs off of the main loop, but I wanted the ability to turn power off to park locomotives. When I was looking at the manual for the ASC for controlling Atlas switches, I saw the block wiring and thought that it'd be nice to do the power with my remote too. What have been others experiences with the ASC?

I do and the ASC works well. I have 5 track sections going through it and have had no problems. Simple on/off function through the Aux2 button.
I use 14 gauge and it has worked well. Since I only use for sidings I thought that was good enough for power even at 18v for command. The connections are not like a power strip for spades, they're meant to have the wires inserted directly into there are small screws to tighten. I tinned the ends of my wires and then inserted.

Yes, tinning the wires is the way to go with these. Glad to know it works for sidings.
Now, has anyone used it backwards, like a transformer selector? Put the power on the 1-4 screws and then the track on the comm screw?
