Received the repaired Veranda Turbine back from MTH and it's running GREAT! Note said they remove some debris from the offending truck (probably some left-over manufacturing stuff as it was free of debris in the gears etc. Also that Engineering is looking at a fix for the smoke director problem .... but nothing yet.
Ran the Freight Sounds and was surprised to find we've been assigned switching duties in the freight yard!!!
Have you ever tried to use a big turbine engine to do switching? LOL!!
I didn't do to well at that task ...
Did UP ever do yard switching with a Turbine?
