On Sunday I rode behind 765 on the CVSR. It was an excellent trip and these are some of the best shots I got that day. I might go back this weekend to get some more. Also for those of you familiar with Stockyard Express the hand you see waving in front of the camera is Clyde!

Enjoy!

You were in the right place at the right time for that start in Brecksville. When we pulled up to the bridge for the second passenger spot (the train was too long to get everyone on board with a single spot) I saw my friend Dave Hanna on the opposite bank of the river. There were also a couple of other fellas there that I recognized as good photographers.

I told Jon Jaros, 765's fireman on this trip, that when we got the command to highball, I was going to be very aggressive on the start. He was ready, with a full head of steam and a good fire. I had the throttle almost wide open for several car lengths on that start! You can really hear the 765's classic "shotgun exhaust" in this one!
