Went north to visit the fine folks at Corner Field Railroad Museum & Hobby Shop on Thursday. My 2nd time there. Words cannot accurately describe the model train display there. Amazing attention to detail, awesome craftsmanship and a great staff greet you as you walk in the door! Here are just a few photos I snapped during our visit. Came home with a great accessory for my little rail empire too!

Wonderful set of photos, thanks! The only thing that I notice isn’t on that layout is an Acela . . . But it’s certainly a big enough layout to have one (or more).

Dave beat me to this post. We made the trek and was not disappointed. Support for layouts like this should come natural to the local TCA chapters and regional groups but to get the word out pictures do wonders for those a little further away. It seems to be a little odd that Tom commented that he gets more TCA guys from Western PA and beyond than northern Ohio, especially when you have something like this in your own backyard!

It is a super fantastic layout. About a 90 minute drive for me, got to head up there and check it out in person.

They are just a 2-hour drive from me in Pennsylvania, and I have visited twice. I look forward to going back again sometime in the new year!

How do you build and maintain something so large? Are there secret access hatches all over the place so you can reach everything?

The cathedral is a really neat IMO. Does anyone know how it was made, kit, etc?
