I would like to upgrade my C&O Greenbrier that is equipped with proto 1.0 electronics to proto sound 2.0. Are the proto 2.0 upgrade kits currently available through MTH?

Will the upgrade kit give the engine proto chuff capability?
Yes, you'll get the chuffing smoke synchronized with the sound. You can also program the number of chuffs/rev to your liking.
The kits were recently available, I haven't ordered one for several weeks, but I suspect they still have them.

Since the only C&O Greenbrier locomotives with PS/1 had fan driven smoke, I suspect that would be a yes.

That is an easy locomotive to work with and deserving of an upgrade.
Does the upgrade add DCS compatibility, or is that something separate?
