I was part of the Weaver club this year, but they went out before my club cars arrived. I paid all of the money, and now I can't get my merchandise. Can anyone help me?

Just tried both, and the email couldn't go through and the call can't be connected. So he just took my money and ran?

See the "Weaver Models is closing" thread where you raised this subject before:

The Weaver 2015 club cars (Hershey reefers) were manufactured and shipped last November (almost a year ago now).  Other people on that thread noted that there were cartons of club cars available at the cash and carry sale.

In my dealings with Weaver, they were always scrupulously honest.  I think saying "So he just took my money and ran" is, at best, irresponsible.  My orders from Weaver were meticulously accounted for right up to the very end and their shipping was second to none.  I do not believe Weaver would take your money and not ship your product.  As another member of this forum, a former train shop owner posted, "Joe Hayter and his employees were first class all the way."

How long ago did you you pay for your club membership?  The notice that Weaver was going out of business was posted on this forum June 10.     They actually closed over a month later, July 17th, I believe.  Did you do anything about this issue before then?

I talked to Joe at York about this, and he told me to have the individual check his account, as Weaver doesn't charge the account until the time of shipment. If the account was charged, then it is quite possible the package may have gotten lost. You can still call Weaver and leave a message with your info and concerns. PGentieu is on the money about Weaver's reputation for fairness. If you can't get through, contact me via e mail, and I will call Joe for you. My e mail is in my profile.
